COVID-19 Attestation
COVID-19 "SAFETY CERTIFICATE" VALUES
Throughout the pandemic, here at Southridge, we’ve sought to live beyond ourselves—defaulting in our response towards the health and safety of others, especially the most vulnerable.
As we reopen to in-person ministry, to take a further step of safety—in accordance with the guidelines for larger-group settings provided by public health and our government—we want to do our part to continue promoting safety, instead of choosing to be exempted because we’re a church.
In fact, we believe that the church, and its leaders and ministry team members, is called to a higher standard as they interact with and care for others. This includes safeguarding the health and safety of those we’re serving as much as possible, especially kids, youth, and other vulnerable groups.
So we are asking all ministry team members to provide a personal “certification of safety,” that represents either a:
- Confirmation of double vaccination, or
- Confirmation of a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of serving in any ministry role
We’re grateful for the opportunity to “all be in this together” as we make the ministries of Southridge that much safer for everyone!
