NEW TO PRAYER?
For people who have never prayed before, it can be intimidating. But God invites us to come as we are and share whatever is on our heart. You don’t need to be an expert or use any special language. Just speak to God as you would a friend, knowing that He loves you and wants the very best for you.
You may add your prayer request to our prayer wall using the form below. Once your prayer request is received, we will share it according to your instructions. Feel free to submit as many prayer requests as you like!
Amanda Layng
After 36hrs of labor, Noella Maikah Layng was born shortly after 10 pm last night, 9lb 10oz, at St Catharines hospital and immediately taken to NICU due to aspirating and ingesting meconium. She then later went into cardiac arrest for 13 minutes.
She was transferred to Sick Kids NICU at 4/5am this morning and is doing a bit better now than she was before. I was discharged at 1:30pm today and we are now driving to Toronto to stay for a few days so we can see her until we can bring her home.
Prayers are greatly appreciated during this time. ️We appreciate all the love and support we've gotten already.

My landlord sold the house that me and my family are living in so we need to move and we're having a really hard time finding a place that we can afford with the credit rating that we have. I'm just really stressed out and don't know what to do, I'm losing hope that we will be able to find a place on time and that we'll end up homeless. Prayers that we find a place would be amazing.

Update: Wanda has pneumonia consistent with covid and is home with antibiotics, inhaler. Her mom is being sent home today with same and a cast on her arm for a fractured hand from a fall. Also on blood thinners due to blood clot concerns so praying no more falls. Wanda is her caregiver and with her own covid as well as hip pain, she asks for prayers to help her 90+ mom who won't handle her walker well. Thanks for prayers.

Her mom is also in the hospital with covid, pneumonia and other issues. Her husband and grandson have just recovered. Prayers for strength, protection and healing for all would be appreciated.

I just dropped off a very close friend of mine at the hospital. what I was hoping would take at most an hour has turned into an overnight stay and the need for surgery. I am requesting for prayers that all will be well with him and hopefully have him home by tomorrow. also prayers for all the sick and waiting for care and prayers to the people working tirelessly to provide this care.
Thank you.

As a child I had a very close relationship with God. I gave my heart to the Lord at a very young age and was soon speaking in tongues and basking in His glory while worshipping. Over the years, I began to stray and fell in to a dark path, consumed by drugs and alcohol. I feel I literally can't control myself when under the influence of alcohol and cocaine, and for too long, I let them take control of my brain and my actions. God has shown me light, and as I recover from a dark, traumatic past please pray for my strength, compassion, and ever growing love for the Lord, along with mercy from anyone who I have hurt stumbling through my addicted past.
