NEW TO PRAYER?
For people who have never prayed before, it can be intimidating. But God invites us to come as we are and share whatever is on our heart. You don’t need to be an expert or use any special language. Just speak to God as you would a friend, knowing that He loves you and wants the very best for you.
You may add your prayer request to our prayer wall using the form below. Once your prayer request is received, we will share it according to your instructions. Feel free to submit as many prayer requests as you like!
The man I love said he never wants to talk to me again because I reached out to his mom to tell her I'm praying for her and her husband with facing her husband's cancer. My heart is breaking and I don't really understand why that upset him. Please pray he will understand I didn't mean any harm and will still talk to me. Thank you.

I have two very important prayer requests for this stressful week.
1), on the 17th, at 3 PM I have a very important, pre-court hearing as it pertains to our family law matter. An issue 10 years in the making. Pray for a wise judgment/ruling and new willingness to collaborate fairly.
2), on the 18th, myself and dozens of other healthcare professionals – mostly doctors – are meeting at Queens Park at 9:45 a.m. for a press conference to:
a) support the debate in the legislature later that day over a private members bill requesting robust protection for conscientious objectors to physician-assisted suicide.
And b) 'call out' the CPSO (College of physicians and surgeons) who have had in place for nearly 2 years a conscriptive policy which requires all physicians to either perform OR refer for physician-assistant suicide [presently known as MaiD; Medical Assistance in Dying]. As persons of conscience, opposed to involvement in this service, we find it unethical to be involved in either referral for or delivery of MAiD.
So, following our press conference in support of the private members bill debate, we will proceed as a group of physicians (and anyone who wants to come with us as a show of support) over to the CPSO office and hand-deliver a large volume of written letters of objection by concerned healthcare workers and other Canadians. The hope is that they will consider reversing their current policy with regards to the delivery of MAiD in Ontario and rescinding the requirement for all physicians to participate in referral.
This type of public action is way outside the comfort zone for myself and many others like me. I greatly solicit your prayers support.
Especially pray for those who are going to be spokespersons at the press conference and no doubt drawn by the media to get off point and perhaps major on some minors. Pray that God moves in the hearts of the listeners and the CPSO, and the legislature. We want for the positive message of affirming life, and protecting against wrongful death to come forward. Not the negative message of what we "won't do". Thank you.

I have a bad situation - inter-personal, where there is real hostility and unfairness; I want to know what God's will is so I may do it. Thank you.

My Uncle Dan has struggled with health issues for a very long time. However over the last couple of years he has declined rapidly after finding out he has colon cancer. Just this evening I heard news that he was told he had a few weeks at most. This is devastating news to our family, and for his wife and 2 daughters it is the worst possible news. His youngest daughter has a new baby along with 2 other children under the age of 5. She is also getting married in July. I can't imagine the pain of planning a wedding knowing your father might not be there with you... Our family has always been very close, we get together for every holiday and usually go on a week long cottage trip every single year since before I was born. I'm having a very hard time with this news, Uncle Dan is my godparent and I hate the thought of losing him. Every prayer counts, and I thank you for yours.

I am praying for God's will in this situation. I am praying for the mental and physical safety of my 2 children. We are currently going through our 4th child custody trial. Please pray for strength for me as I prepare the necessary documents for the April 17 determination court date. I am struggling with this and time is running out. Please pray for strength and endurance for me. Please pray for my attorney in the matter as well. (She is also a fellow believer) Please pray that the truth be revealed and the children are able to come back home to me. Please pray for favour in the eyes of the court. Pray for the magistrate as she makes the appropriate decision on this matter. Please pray for God's hand and protection in all of this. I really need to get this paperwork together for my attorney. I appreciate your prayers. Thank you so much. We serve a mighty God and I know through Him all things are possible.

In the last week, Angela VanZanten has received word that her mom's health continues to decline with the cancer in her body. These complications, along with her presence in the Netherlands has made it difficult for Angela and her family to provide support. Angela hopes to travel this week to visit. Pray for travel safety and especially for God's peace as the family comes to terms with an ailing loved one.

Wow I have needed a lot of prayers in the last year, umm but this one is for my aunt. She's going through some stuff and it's upsetting, of course, but I'm not used to this. She's been my rock since I was born and now she needs a rock. So I hope god can help with that. My cousin is worried and I've not gotten the details, respectfully, but he's worried and I'm worried. So please keep them both in your prayers if you get the chance.
