NEW TO PRAYER?
For people who have never prayed before, it can be intimidating. But God invites us to come as we are and share whatever is on our heart. You don’t need to be an expert or use any special language. Just speak to God as you would a friend, knowing that He loves you and wants the very best for you.
You may add your prayer request to our prayer wall using the form below. Once your prayer request is received, we will share it according to your instructions. Feel free to submit as many prayer requests as you like!

Please pray for our son. He was is now 20 years old and was raised attending Southridge since he was 7 . He was recently suffering from mild depression and was seeing a therapist but we believe he may still be suffering. Although he hasn't abandoned his faith he is making unwise life choices. He is in a relationship with a young lady that has many mental health issues and it has become an unhealthy relationship for our son but he is totally infactuated and unaware how unhealthy it is. He has informed us that he is moving to Alberta in a couple of months to live with her and we are heartbroken and really worried at the same time. Please pray for God to intervene in both their lives, to overcome whatever grip that mental illness may be playing in this situation and that our son's eyes would be opened and that he would see the relationship and the situation through an unclouded lense. through God's eye. Also, please pray for us (as his parents) for wisdom from God on how to deal with this on a day-to-day basis and for God's peace to be upon us as we trust Him in and through this situation. Thank -you

I want to thank everyone who have prayed . I had told my sister Jana the wrong date, it was the 20th when I spoke to the neurologist. The news was very good, the tumour is benign, no CANCER. I am so grateful to my sister Jana, her friends (now my friends too) and to her church (which i have enjoyed attending). Merry Christmas to all, I will truly enjoy this year with my family. Spread the love and kindness.

Please pray for my sister Dora. She was diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer over 4 years ago and now she has been recently diagnosed with a brain tumour. She sees a neurosurgeon Dec 30, 2016 for next steps. She has been through chemo, radiation and numerous surgeries over the past 4 years. This tumour we have been initially told could possibly be benign. We ask for your prayers please, she has been through so much. Thank you for previous prayers and once again thank you.

At this time of year people gather around the tree open presents and enjoy family and Amen to that blessing , unfortunately tooooo many don't have that opportunity!!! Sure we all want certain presents but we all NEED and CRAVE-- LOVE ,ENCOURAGEMENT and HOPE so please take a moment stop look around there is an immeasurable amount of brother s and sisters eagerly awaiting the greatest gift-- God's love and our willingness and responsibility to share it ! God bless all of you this Christmas season

Two families in Vineland request prayer..........
Kim and Joel Leonard found out early Monday morning that Kim’s mom, Sandy Dick had passed away while recuperating from surgery. Sandy was only 59 years old. The news was very unexpected and comes with great sadness. Let’s uphold this family who will miss a wife, mom, and grandmother.
As well, yesterday morning Marilyn Koop, daughter to Peter and Helen Dirksen passed away at the UM Home in Vineland. Marilyn had spent the last number of years in this residence. The Dirksen family will grieve her loss, and celebrate her life, believing that she is finally at peace.

Please pray for little Kieran Peters. Kieran has experienced several infantile spasms and mild seizures this week and is undergoing medical tests to determine the cause. Pray that Darren and Amy will be given courage and strength as they surrender their young baby to the doctors care.

In the past two weeks, Erwin Wall in the Vineland location, has been confronted with the diagnosis of a brain tumour. Surgery was done immediately and proceeded well by medical accounts. The family now waits for further assessments, and possible next steps for treatment from the medical experts. In the midst of all that has happened, the family is so grateful for the support received to date and continues to lean on God’s providence to face the journey ahead. Please keep Erwin and his family in your prayers.

Pleade pray for my friend Laura she has been in a deep depression for 2yrs. Please pray that the Lord would break through the darkness with a revelation of His love for her and that she would experience the joy of her salvation again. That her faith and strength would be renewed. Also pray for her husband John for understanding and compassion. That he would lead in love and not act out of frustration and anger. That there would be a overwelming sence of the pressance of God in their home and that Gods peace would rest within their hearts and home.

Suddenly, the father of Liz Doornbos passed away yesterday afternoon in a small town in northern Ontario. He had touched many lives as a family man and a contributor to his community. He will be deeply missed by his wife, two children and their spouses along with his five grandchildren. Please keep this family in prayer as they grieve his loss and celebrate his legacy.
