NEW TO PRAYER?
For people who have never prayed before, it can be intimidating. But God invites us to come as we are and share whatever is on our heart. You don’t need to be an expert or use any special language. Just speak to God as you would a friend, knowing that He loves you and wants the very best for you.
You may add your prayer request to our prayer wall using the form below. Once your prayer request is received, we will share it according to your instructions. Feel free to submit as many prayer requests as you like!
Please pray to open all of our hearts and especially at this time the hearts of our Shelter Staff to love one another. To be devoted to one another in love. To Honour one another above our selves. Serve one another humbly in love and to offer hospitality to one another. The people entering our Shelter doors need to feel this love and welcome and honour and humility. Please pray the our Lord show us the way.

I am struggling emotionally and feeling very lonely though I am surrounded by people who love and care for me. This sadness is overwhelming and I cry all the time…on my way to work, in the bathroom, driving home or to pick up my son, ALL the time. This pain is so deep.
I need to move past abuse from my childhood, I would like to forgive so that I can find peace, but I don’t know how to.
Please pray that God can help me find peace and forgiveness.

Praying for peace, acceptance, and letting go of disappointments heading into Christmas and a new year. That my fears and regrets of my inability to speak up will be replaced with courage and renewed hope. To be less guarded and trust the process. To be released from a broken heart. To know that I am in the right place at the right time. Trusting that God will fill my heart and take away this lingering lonely feeling. Even with friends, family and my son there is still something missing. I hope to find this.

Pray and agree with me that God will grow my husband and me in our relationship with Him. Pray that we hear when God speaks to us and leads and directs us in all areas of our lives. Pray that we both can have hearts filled with love, the love like Christ asked us to love each other and that we both are restored and our marriage is reconciled.
Thank you for praying for us.

Please pray for my father-in-law, Thomas. He is battling lung cancer and recently had a fall which perforated his bowel. His white blood count is critically low from the cancer and chemo therapy so they are unable to do surgery to repair it. The doctor doesn’t think he will live past the weekend. God is able to heal him, please pray and believe with us. Please also pray for his salvation. Thank you.

Thanks to all who have prayed for Heather and Chris these past few weeks. We received great news that bloodwork and ultrasound on the lymph nodes have come back clear. So grateful for answered prayers once again!

Hello, so, I’m a little nervous about telling you my name so, if you’d like to pray for that, that’s cool too. Here’s my prayer request: After almost a decade of pharmaceuticals percocet’s and anti-inflammatories not to mention, much prayer and consideration, I’ve decided that my doctors request for me to use medical marijuana as an alternative pain medication, is actually a pretty good idea and probably the best alternative at the moment. Combined with Michael Krause’s message on the legalization of marijuana a week or two ago, I believe it’s a safe decision. However, now I’m concerned about the short term memory losses I’m experiencing. I know the side effects are normal, but I’m going to pray that this one dissipates. My memory is important to me and my wife. I use it to pray in the morning and tell my wife I love her before she leaves for work. So, I’m asking God, His son Jesus and the Holy Spirit, to lead me to a new kind of recovery. Will you please join me in prayer that His will for my recovery to be full and complete? Thank you 😉
