NEW TO PRAYER?
For people who have never prayed before, it can be intimidating. But God invites us to come as we are and share whatever is on our heart. You don’t need to be an expert or use any special language. Just speak to God as you would a friend, knowing that He loves you and wants the very best for you.
You may add your prayer request to our prayer wall using the form below. Once your prayer request is received, we will share it according to your instructions. Feel free to submit as many prayer requests as you like!
With Covid cases climbing across our province, the demands on hospital staff has become extremely great. I invite prayer on behalf of staff members who are working extremely hard to support patient care. I also invite prayer for staff who are at home sick, and for our patients. Finally, let's continue to pray for our leaders as they find ways and means to support front line workers.

I’ll begin with a little update: my friend’s brother, who I put a request for recently, got better and is out of the hospital so praise God.
Today I bring before God my mom’s mother, Aisha, who has been a support for my mom and myself all these years; she has been diagnosed with COVID and pneumonia. She’s in the hospital, with oxygen on and an IV.
I would like to pray for her return to perfect health, for relief from all the pain she’s going through and for her children to be comforted, to keep faith and hope in God.

Thank you to everyone who is praying for our brother. It has been a true blessing. After the testing it showed his stage which is farther along than last occurance was. Today he is starting his chemo here in St. Catharines. ( a blessing). We are all grateful it is starting so soon. Please pray for comfort during this chemo as it is strong. We are believing that God can bring him spiritual,. emotional and physical comfort and give him the strength to do it It is the first part of the treatment.
Thank you and may God bless you.

I want to update everyone and thank you all very much for your prayers. I truly appreciate everyone of them. My surgery went well and I am recovering well. The lung tumour turned out to be metastasis from a previous breast cancer, not a new lung cancer. (Thank GOD)
I will be pursuing further treatment but for breast metastasis now. I am so thankful for the wonderful people at Southridge who have helped me through a difficult time in my life. I am truly blessed

I pray that we come together to help those members in our community to know that there are better days ahead. Let them know that they are not alone. Give them the strength to reach out and see what God has in store for them by letting God take control. We are all in fear of this up coming season and for most they will struggle with loneliness and lack of community. Let’s reach out and be the hands and feet and comfort those who need to know that they are loved and valued during these dark and lonely nights. God, please speak into our friends and let them be aware of the good that you bring those who hear you. Let them feel what so many others feel when we come to you in times of difficulty.
