Prayer for all of the relationships in our community - especially that we will all choose to address concerns with love before they fester into something deep rooted and evil. Let us all choose safe people to confide in and keep each other accountable to live out our relationships in this life the way that Jesus would! There is so much clarity to be found in good communication.

This intergenerational devotional is a daily experience where you will be able to prepare your heart for the arrival of Jesus through reading, prayer, reflection and action. Set aside a time daily to engage in this practice, on your own or alongside some family or friends.

If you are a young family reach out to Jenn Surtees to get a copy of our Advent Tree and stamps that go along with this devotional to help engage our kids minds and bodies.

Three Lies of Identity

In his book entitled, “Who Are We?” late author and priest Henri Nouwen describes three key lies of identity that can mess with our heads and create barriers to us experiencing the love of both God and community. He names these lies as: • I am what I have • I am what I do • I am what other people say or think of me
